Michele Aldrin

Acrylic Painting

Michele enjoys creating happy art with a bit of whimsy. From playful landscapes to fun animal illustrations, she strives to put a smile on the viewer’s face with her acrylic paintings and archival giclee prints. Her current series of paintings mashes up colorful sea creatures in outer space, often times with curious astronauts joining in on the fun. This 'Space/Sea Series' has been so enjoyable for Michele to explore, the theme providing endless ideas for future works.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Purdue University in Indiana, and is a member of Woodinville Arts Alliance, Plein Air Washington Artists, Bothell Art Scene and Olympia Lamplighters.  You can find her art in local galleries around Washington State and hanging in homes across the country.

“Since childhood, I've loved doodling. I would entertain my friends with the silly images I sketched. As an adult, I 'doodle' with acrylics. I find that doing whimsical pieces is just what my mind needs to help through the stresses of life. I enjoy creating fun art, often with a bit of humor. Creating fantastical pieces makes me happy, and I hope that my art adds to the joy in your home.”
