Blooms, Birds & Beyond in Inks & Collage
With Teaching Artist Rohini Mathur
Explore your creative side at our upcoming Colorful Autumn: Blooms, Birds & Beyond in Inks & Collage art workshop! Ideal for beginning teen (age 14+) and adult students, artist Rohini Mathur shows you how to simplify shapes, use color theory concepts and create colorful autumnal sketchbook pages that look fresh and joyful. She brings floral inspiration for each class for you to create colorful autumn-themed garden pages with different types inks, watercolors, acrylic inks, pens and markers while exploring color theory and composition basics. You’ll have fun adding and intermixing various autumn garden scenes, fall florals, birds & butterflies, pumpkins and so much more. Using paper collage and interesting mixed-media layering techniques, you fill your sketchbook with pages full of color, wonder and whimsy! All skills levels are welcome and all supplies are provided.
Class Dates: October 16 and 23 (Thursdays), 10:30am–1pm
Location: Class meets in person at Willard Art & Frame, 10101 Main St., Bothell
Cost: $145 includes two class sessions of 2.5 hours each and includes all a watercolor sketchbook and all supplies.
Class size is limited to 8 students to ensure individualized attention and a focused learning environment.

Meet Your Instructor, Teaching Artist Rohini Mathur
Rohini Mathur is an award-winning floral painter who loves to create vivid florals and botanical paintings full of joy, energy and life. She has public art installations at City of Bothell, Bellevue, SeaTac, Redmond and Issaquah. Rohini enjoys sharing her love and passion for the arts and teaches several art classes and workshops through Bellevue College, Kirkland Arts Center, Bellevue Botanical Gardens, UW Botanic Gardens and Willard Art.
