Zan Edson is a Seattle artist and art teacher. Sculpture in wool and clay, sand and snow, painting and illustration are some of her favorite means of expressing herself.

Zan grew up on the wild shores of Northern Maine and still gathers strength and inspiration from forest and water, stone and bramble.  She loves the Pacific Northwest and it's crazy jumble of city, mountain and sound.

She loves to make felt and clay animals and mythic beasts, several of whom can be seen in Willard Art & Frame’s Spooky show this month. She also has a felt tapestry at the Grey Sky Gallery in Pioneer Square this month.

Her art can be seen online at https://www.facebook.com/Zantopia.
