Botanical Printing Workshop
With Teaching Artist Rachel MacKenna
Learn to design stunning botanical images using transfer printing techniques and fresh botanicals.
You use simple layering techniques, eco-friendly materials and printing inks on Gelli printing plates to explore colorful combinations of shape and pattern.
At the workshop’s conclusion, you take home your own custom art and/or stationery!
This workshop is open to all students 16+. No experience is necessary for this fun and free-form class, which does not require traditional drawing or painting skills, just a willingness to experiment!

Saturday, May 23, 1–3pm
Workshop Tuition: $55 (+ tax, includes all supplies)

Meet Your Instructor, Teaching Artist Rachel MacKenna
Rachel MacKenna is a full-time, certified, early education art instructor. She has also worked for several years at both Redmond Parks and Recreation, designing art classes and teaching as an art professor, and conducted art workshops as an annual event for Unified Dance in Bothell.
